Facebook layout- freebie

hi all

here is my latest layout for facebook.
I made this one using papers from my
Suede kit which was from May 2008
and yes, you can still find that kit on
my other blog at:
http://blog-n-scraps.blogspot.com
look under the archives on the right side
menu..all my freebies from day one are still available!

OK..now for the facebook layout...here it is,
as I said before, click on the preview pic and it will
take you PageRage, just follow the instructions.
This is no more than an add-on for your browser.

Another thing about posting these is that I
dont have to make a preview pic and zip up files
then upload both and the post links..sometimes
its a pain because at times my mind is somewhere else
and I end up grabbing the wrong links...or I find Im
not on the right blog..so this is quick and easy, and
who doesnt like that!

Ok ganga, I will see you soon...and yes, I will have
an alpha freebie for you too! Keep an eye out!

By the way, I will be posting only Facebook layouts here
and the scraps will be on blog-n-scraps. Right now tho' I
am posting both on each site until I see how this goes

Hello and welcome to my blog,

As you may have read already, this blog was setup
to post all my Scrapbooking freebies, although I
have another blog for the same reason, this blog will
have "other" freebies as well.

SECOND:

I have been enjoying making page layouts for PageRage,
which is an add-on for Firefox browser. The thing with
this PageRage is that it enables you to change your pages
on Facebook! Yes..Facebook! You can also change your pages
Over at MySpace too. I think this add-on is one of the add-ons
for Firefox. The page layouts are easy to use, you just click on
the Preview link and you decide whether you want to change
just your Profile page or all of your pages!

When you click on the preview pic, it will take you to the
PageRage site where you will see the layout I posted, there
it will show you how to add the add-on to Firefox, which is
easy, no fuss, no muss, you add it like you add any other add-on
which Im sure you have done before. Try it, I think you will
agree.
By the way...once you get this add-on, you can also design
your own layouts! Its as easy as uploading a background
pic or pattern and click! Check it out!

this was made from one of my scrapbook kits from
back in July of 2008, the kit was called "Bordered"
This PageRage is quite addictive! But I am enjoying it.

Well,I've finally completed my new website as promised,
I will be constantly adding to the backgrounds available for FACEBOOK,
just keep watching.....I've included popular television serials such as
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, TWILIGHT, DR.WHO,
I'll be puttin some GLEE backgrounds on soon so come back here to get more!
The PATTERNS page has backgrounds that will fit MYSPACE,BLOGGER and
TWITTER also! I worked very hard trying to get my backgrounds to
fit all these social sites,got there in the end though phew.
Just remember to right-click on a background,save then upload it to PAGERAGE,
easy installation of a firefox plugin enables your profile to be pimped and prettied

Sept 2009 update

good morning my friends

I thought that by now I would have moved
over to this blog with all the freebies, but I still
have alot of space on "Blog-n-Scraps" so I will
continue to post the freebies there until I run out
of space, "waste not, want not" like they say!

Thank you for your continued support thru all
that has been going on with me. I have gone
thru a few "personal" changes and I didnt want to
lay all of it on you, my efforts for these blogs are
so that you all can enjoy the freebies without all
the "drama" that other sites give. It kind of makes
me feel that you're not really getting a "freebie",
you are still "paying" because of having to read thru
other's life". Dont get me wrong, I am not saying
there's anything wrong in that, we all need to vent,
right? I am just saying I didnt want that for you.

With that, I say again for all your support and kind
words. And I am sorry for not being around for
those months.

Hiya gang!

I am not certain when I will switch to this blogger addy. I originally did this addy for when I ran out of space at blog-n-scraps. So, to be honest...I have no idea what I'm doing...lol

I tell you this..I do want to learn how to do this xml thing so I can do my own page design.
The ones that they have here are ok, but as we all do, I would like my page to be...well...more me.

Blogger guys have been doing alot of nice updating and creating, and I do like this site very much.
I do wish that the page customization was a little bit easier without having to know things like xml, css etc. yes, there are still ummies like me out here that ont know squat about this stuff. Yes, there are blog theme designers out there an they do great work, but I would prefer to do my own. I never really liked using other peoples work, not that they are bad or anything like that, believe me..I'm no critic! I just prefer to make and use my own. But because I dont know any of that "xml, css, etc" stuff, I have no choice.


Getting back to this blog....what Iam going to do is, finish posting on blog-n-scraps and maybe just post a link to here to get the scraps. then when I figure out something better, than I'll switch (I guess) Another thing I have to do is get use to working on a laptop, right now this touch pad is driving me nuts! And when I get done here, I am going to look up to see about this auto scrolling and auto clicking...honestly, I cant tell you how many times I acciently stopped on a link just to look at the links below it and all of a sudden, the page opens to the link my cursor is on! Gosh thats so annoying!!! I am sure its an easy solution...I just havent found it yet.

OK..until I figure what I am going to do..I will see you at blog-n-scraps!

It is now April and....

I still didnt move to this blog yet.
I think this blog will be like an
"extra Page" to my other blog.
I am not certain how or what way
I will set it up, whether I put
the files here and leave previews
there, or use the other blog as an
archive of all my "older" freebies.
This way I can leave them up along
with the previews. I dont know..(sigh)
Right now I cant put alot of thought
into it.
I may also be getting involved in
doing a store with another scrapper

I promise you this.....
I wont be like the others who left
you hanging with little to no freebies.
I will continue posting the freebies the
same as I do now. I wouldnt do that to
you all. I know how that feels when you
get to liking a designer and they go
Commercial and they throw you a bone
once in awhile. There was one woman in
particular (I wont mention the name) who
posted some of the prettiest scraps around.
She took some time off and when she came back,
she started selling her scraps. The thing is
she said she would still have freebies..
yeah, right!!! Since she's been back, she
posted like 3 freebies, but pushes her
commercial stuff basically in your face.
Dont get me wrong..I understand fully that
whole "selling" concept. But I dont get
how she can do that to the faithful followers
who were the ones who "told 2 friends & they
told 2 friends..etc".
I dont mean to sound like I am bitter over
freebies...heck..I make my own! But I think
it was wrong to leave all those people in the
dust.And she's not the only one who has done
that, there have been quite a few more.
I am sure you know a few yourself.
So if I do end up getting involved with
selling my wares as they say...you wont
be brushing any of my dust off of you!
The only reason I would even sell is just
so I could pick up more resources to use
so I can produce more scraps. I depend on
alot of dings for my stuff, and while some
are free..the fancier ones cost quite a bit!
I went to several font designer sites and
My Fonts to purchase a few...did I say a few!!!
let me tell you..I couldnt buy one! I mean we
are talking 39.00 - 49.00 bucks just for one!
I had my eye on this set since they came out
and each one of them cost 49.00!! I know its
not an easy job creating fonts, its alot of
work so I can understand why they charge what
they do..but people like me cant afford some-
thing like that. So like I said..if I do get
involved the store..it will be for that only!

OK..I guess enough of my ranting for now..

Slowly, but surely.....

I am slowly getting this new blog going.
Learning how to "hack" the page is very
slow going for me..I can usually figure
things out, but for some reason, this
html stuff I just cant make sink in!

I will be having a real nice freebie
on opening day here, so keep an eye out!

I figured I'd start another area just

I am still not sure what I should do as far
as setting up my own site. I would have
alot more space and be able to host my
own files rather than dealing with those
file hosting sites. I am just not certain
which way to go..we will see.

in the mood to type, I am making type-o's
all over the place...and too tired to correct myself.
